sorting by recipient in the sent folder seems somewhat random, and is probably
sorting by sender.

working on this now.

the sorting part is easy.  I'm also getting the "View | Sort By" menu to do the 
right thing.

fix in hand, patch on the way.  includes the fixes for the UI issues.

everything is working good, except for the column picker.

once it gets initialized, it never updates if the columns change.

I'll log a bug on that (to be able to turn off that optimization) and fix it 
when I fix some other column picker bugs.
