From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010419
BuildID: 2001041920

The following buttons on the button bar don't work.
New Mgs, Reply, Reply All, Forward. As all these seem
to be related to trying to startup a compose window.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Startup mail
2. Try using any of the first four buttons.
3. Also fails from the Menu->Message->New Messgae etc.

Actual Results: I get an informational dialog box.
"An Error occurred while creating a message compose window. Please try
 again.
 [

Expected Results: Message compose window

I use this as my primary mail utility, I know that its beta
but unless I use it as far as I can then it won't get the testing
it deserves.
WORKSFORME with 2001-04-20-10 on Linux.

I could compose, fetch and reply to messages just fine.
Please try a build from April 20. There was a patch on the evening of the 19th
that broke many things. This has been backed out. (see bug 46863)

Well I have tried the latest build and I though worked once, however
all other attempts fail as reported! Also noticed that the java-man
ico does not appear in the system tray(?) as before...

I am coming to the conclusion that there must be sort adverse effect
of having both Netscape 6 and Mozilla on the same system - or am I
missing something???

Do you use Netscape and Mozilla at the same time? If so then do you use the same
or different profiles?
I use both at the same time, I do have the same profile
names, however they are installed in different locations.
However I will double check that at work tomorrow.

I have just copied down todays build and it seems to work OK
for me at home I will try this out tomorrow at work.

But there is a nice new (I hope) bug...

Ok, I did some more checking and yes I had some other directories with
profile information, so I deleted the profile and created a new one and the
buttons are working. Maybe it was caused by migrating the profile from N6
to Moz.
