Per request from Seth, logging a tracking bug to keep a tally on bugs causing
havoc in filters UI.  Separating search and filters into two tracking bugs,
although some bugs will be on both lists because of shared elements. 

Search UI is bug 77232.

According to the bug history, Laurel is the maintainer of this tracking-bug.
Assigning it to her (gayatrib is gone).

I think my problem is related to this problem, rather than file a new bug, I
thought I would avoid the senseless dup if I could.

I am having a problem with the latest nightly creating a Message filter... 

The pull down menu's in the Message Filters window don't work for filters...
They do work though for the actions.

Is this indeed part of this bug?  Or is this a separate issue (most likely to be
attached to this bug).

build 2003101505: msgs to a 2ndary pop3 acct get immediately dumped to trash.
thinking it might be a problem w/ filters, i opened the ui, clicked on the only
filter, clicked edit, crash...

sorry for the spam.  making bugzilla reflect reality as I'm not working on these bugs.  filter on FOOBARCHEESE to remove these in bulk.
