From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.4 i686; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010428
BuildID: 2001042806

Netscape 4 has "Stop Animations" in the popupmenu (right
click) for animated GIFs, bound to ESC. Hitting ESC stops
animated GIFs.

Mozilla has nothing like this. There is a "Stop" in the
popmenu for images, but it does nothing.

Hitting ESC also does not stop animated GIFs.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an URL with animated GIFs (like http://www.aftonbladet.se)
2. Hit ESC, select Stop from popup menu, the GIFs will not stop.

Expected Results: Hitting ESC stops GIFs.
Mozilla should reintroduce the Netscape 4 behaviour,
hitting ESC to stop animated GIFs is very handy.
There is bug 19533 and it has been resolved as WONTFIX
yuck. i'm pretty sure we have a bug that has more sympathy.., Eli was wrong we
could change the text to Stop Animations <esc>.
