From bug 41527:

------- Additional Comments From robbe@orcus.priv.at 2001-06-05 12:13 -------

  mozilla -remote 'openURL(http://mozilla.org/)'
works again. Good.

  mozilla -remote 'openURL(mozilla.org)'
however, does not work. I think it did before this bug arose.

With ",new-window", both alternatives work (as always).

The second one sounds like a seperate problem. Please open a new bug about it.
Updating the summary and add self to cc list. This is not an enhancement if
`mozilla -remote 'openURL(www.site.com,new-window)'" is working, but doesn't
without the new-window parameter.
Summary: [RFE] support "mozilla -remote 'openURL(mozilla.org)'" (no http://) → `mozilla -remote 'openURL(mozilla.org)'" (no http://) not working

In recent builds, even urls with http:// don't work anymore. but if you do it
with the new-window parameter it still works fine. Do we want a separate bug
for this?
