I can't reproduce that bug by following some precise steps but it isn't very rare...

Sometimes, when I open a page and do other things (the page is no longer focused, maybe Firefox Android is no longer focused) and the page is loading in the background. Then, [sometimes,] when I reopen the page, the page is blank but if I press reload or start the "Readability" mode the page appears immediately. (in the case of reload, it disappears quickly too ;)).

This might be related to code that was recently backed out. We had web pages loading but not visible.
This should be fixed in the March 1 nightly with the landing of bug 844275. Please reopen if this still happens.
