84626 - FTP transaction does not happen

Build 2001-06-06-20, Win98

Behavior:
FTP link does not load.  Host is resolved, but "Document: Done" shortly after.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Debug > Verification > PNG Images for the test URL, or follow the
supplied link.
2. Click on the image.  This should open a larger version of the file from their
FTP site.

Expected:
PNG image opens and begins to load.

Ok, shift-clicking to force a save results in the following ALERT:

"There was an error reading from the source location."

I also logged another (perhaps related?) FTP bug, 84625.

works for me.  

Can you get a network trace?  Try running ngrep or another packet level monitor 
if you can.

Uhm, <shrug>, guess I can't help you there.  Don't have the resources for that.
 Actually, tell me where I could get a packet monitor for Win32 and I could give
it the ol' college try.  :)

Will it give a meaningful answer?  I'm not much into networking, so some of the
result may be lost in transit.  :P

Hmm, this may be related to CONN and error dialogs generated by stop requests,
etc.  Nowadays I don't connect at all.

Marking WORKSFORME for now.  Either that or a dup, but I don't have time right
now to research.
