User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130409194949

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox for Android (22.0a2).
Navigate to https://air.mozilla.org.
Scroll to the bottom and click the Persona Login button.
New tab opens
Enter email address
Click Next
Password field appears
Attempt to enter password

Actual results:

Password does not enter the field correctly. After entering two characters the text cursor becomes unresponsive and new dots stop appearing. Eventually they suddenly appear all together but the text cursor has jumped backwards so the characters are in the wrong order.

Expected results:

Password should have entered the field correctly
OS: Windows 7 → Android

The above was found on Samsung Galaxy S3 using 22.0a2 (Aurora).
This works for me with my default stock keyboard on my LG Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.2). Which keyboard are you using on your S3?

Can you also try Nightly (http://nightly.mozilla.org) and report back?
Component: General → Keyboards and IME
This is S3 with stock (TouchWiz) Android 4.1.2. The keyboard is SwiftKey (4.0.1.128). I can replicate the issue with the stock Samsung keyboard on Aurora.

Just tested using Nightly and can't replicate. Guess it has been fixed already. Sorry to waste your time.

Glad to hear.

Not at all, let's figure out which bug fixed this and if it needs Aurora uplift.

Yeah, it's a pretty bad bug. I'll see if I can track down the problem so we can uplift.

I could not reproduce with dynamic toolbar disabled. So disabling it by default on Aurora should work.
I can confirm. Disabling Dynamic Toolbar solves the issue on Aurora for me too.
