Details
the fix for bug 85054 (which renamed NewCache to Cache) resulted in mixing files
from the old cache (moz 0.8.1 and prior) with files from the new cache. this is
relatively benign, but should be dealt with (most likely at installation time).
Start a new profile. All cache files are now placed in "Cache" directory.
Directory "NewCache" is not created. Woo Hoo... The "Cache" Mummy Returns!!!
If you have a mixed cache, can you see what are the results of clearing the
cache via prefs?
This is benign, as Darin said. The files will get cleaned up when the cache is
cleared via prefs. I think fixing this at install time would just be adding
code to fix something that doesn't appear to be a problem. We have other fish
to fry.
