Using Mozilla 2001070710 Linux build.
Right info boxes should be vertically aligned and with the same width.
But login box is too big (this is a common bug with every input field, try
google.com,
search field is too big, compare with Mozilla 0.9.1 for example), and content boxes
are missplaced (should be right justified).
See my attachment below for a screenshot.

On macos 8.6 and Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010707,
the input boxes are bigger than expected, the rest of the objects on the page
are in the same place as it looks with IE 5 on mac.
I've found the problem. Using Microsoft TrueType fonts with Mozilla makes some
pages look very bad (as the screenshot
shows), please, anyone in Linux could confirm it? I'm using Microsoft Verdana font.
Summary: content and login boxes are bad sized and/or missplaced → Using Microsoft TrueType Fonts in Linux causes major layout glitches
The problem is exactly in the Monospace field. Using a Microsoft trueType font
there is what makes some pages (input fields, text boxes and so) look bad.

I think the problem is probably with the font conversion process itself, because
I have problems with MS fonts in other Linux applications too. I could be wrong
though...
->HTML Form controls, since it seems like an input sizing issue

This appears to be fixed on 2001110908/Linux. I'm no longer seeing stretching of
the login box on slashdot.

I agree, I can't see this anymore with the fonts installed on my system. But
rods@netscape.com recently modified Target Milestone and Title, so I suppose
he's still seeing it... anyway, WFM.
