View any standalone image that is smaller than the screen, so there is no vertical scrollbar.

You cannot access the awesomebar because the page won't scroll. The only way to get it back is to do a kind of pinch+scroll movement.

This looks similar to bug 898877, but I'm still seeing it on the 2013-08-17 Nightly.
I just tried reproducing this on my galaxy Q with https://staktrace.com/kats/avatar.jpg and didn't have any problems. When the page loads I cannot scroll at all so I can't get the toolbar to the hidden state. If I pinchzoom in I can scroll but showing/hiding works as expected. Can you provide more detailed STR? Maybe this is specific to a device screen size.
This no longer reproduces. Maybe that or another fix wasn't yet in the 2013-08-17 Nightly.
