STEPS:

1- Preferences | Advanced | Proxies -> Manual
2- Enter an FTP proxy
3- Enter "mozilla.org" into no-proxy.
4- Open ftp://ftp.netscape.com and ftp://www.mozilla.org

Note the HTML looks different. We also read those FTP header files that was
mentioned in bug 90695.

You realize that a proxy can provide any kind of directory view it wants, don't
you? I would think that mozilla can provide any view it wants.
Opps.

I was *testing* at the time, so obviously I wasn't *thinking*.

+relnote - if it fooled me, it will probably fool a user.

I'll take the hit on my pride...

RELNOTE TEXT:

Direct FTP and FTP proxy will not always appear the same for the same server. In
the past, users of Netscape Proxy Server and Communicator would see identical
displays because the underlying code was similar. Mozilla's direct FTP display
does not resemble these views.
