If I create a new message folder with the name [erlug], (the same name of the
prefix of most mailing lists), and I create a new message filter to move the ml
messages on that folder, on the reboot of the program the folder will duplicate.
The folder named [erlug] will be empty and a click on that will give an unknown
error, and another one called 5e70a343 will contain the messages of that mailing
list.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a folder named [erlug]
2.create a filter that move some messages on that folder
3.reboot
4.open the folder
Actual Results: the same descripted above
Expected Results: mozilla shouldn't create a folder 5e70a343 (or similar
names), and should move the messages on the right folder
This isn't a filter problem, it's a generic move/copy to folder
problem...there's already a couple bugs about this, will locate them.
What type server is the folder(s) on --POP or IMAP?
I believe this is another instance of the problems found with 41944 and 90186 --
I'll let naving comment to confirm that idea, or maybe other bug numbers.

I created a folder named "[erlug]" and made a filter that redirects emails to
it. The only problem that occured to me was that the folder does not become
bold when it receives new messages. Other than that, it works fine.
Build: 2002-01-17, Windows 98.

Scratch that; it *didn't* work fine. I just found that the folder "[erlug]" is
not usable anymore ... I can't load it, and some new folder with an obscure
name, similar to "5e70a343" was created with the filtered message.
Bumping up severity.
