Windows only, build 19990709 the drop down menus in the addressing field are not accessible until you collapse then expand the addressing panel. 0. Have at least 3 mail accounts set up. 1. Launch Messenger 2. Click New Msg 3. Click on the From: drop down arrow. It doesn't drop down a list. It should 4. Repeat #3 for the 2nd and 3rd To: fields. No drop down list. 5. Collapse then expand this addressing pane by clicking on the bar to the left of the addressing pane. 6. Now repeat steps 3 & 4. All the drop down lists appear now.

Build 1999071408M8: Win32/NT4 The problem occurs in the following areas: 1. The "From:" drop down list. 2. There are three "To:" drop down lists, is this what you mean by the recipient drop down list? If so, the 1st drop down list expands but the the 2nd and 3rd do not.

The addressing dropdown menus are created dynamically by duplicating the first dropdown menu. This works fine on Mac and Unix. I need to reassign this bug either to xul folk or to widget folk. which one?
I don't know who to assign this to either. Scott, would you have any ideas? Thanks.

Without having looked at it, this sounds like a duplicate of another bug on hierarchial submenus not working for popups on windows. If this is the same thing, this should be fixed when XP menus start doing the popups. There is no really easy fix for this, definitely not in the M9 timeframe. So I'm going to set target for M10 (hyatt, feel free to retarget for XP popups timeframe) CCing hyatt
