From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001080110 I've tried entering some sites with embedded Video in them and they showed the "Download Plugin" symbol but the plug-in wasn't there. Note that with IE and NS4 I can see those videos. I thought I needed to install the WM plugin and tried to copy the NP-something something files from my Netscape Dir (which also were in the WMP dir). This didn't work (still "Download Plugin"). So I deleted those files, now when I get into a site with embedded video (Like the one I wrote above), it simply doesn't show anything, not a WMP and not a picture as if it wasn't there (It is in the Page Source). I tried copying the WMP files again (the NP...) and now it shows a big gap as if the file was there but it shows nothing and acts like a big SPACE. I also found that the file MIME type wasn't in the "Helper Programs" like it was in the Netscape. I also tried to manually insert one but it did not work. I don't know if this a bug in mozilla or is it me that done something wrong. Reproducible: Didn't try

Those who see it working: what plugin do you use for this application/x-mplayer2 type?
Reporter, the big blank space you see is the area occupied by the plugin (which is npdsplay.dll -- a bridge to MediaPlayer. The MediaPlayer currently has compatibility issues (LiveConnect) and doesn't work. We have a bug on this. Shrirang, I think this can be resolved as a dup.

tried on a win 98 with 7.1 media player..but only the 'windows media player' screen appeared. Marking dup of 66015. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 66015 ***
mass duplicate verifications . For filtering purposes, pls use keywd "massdupverification"
