CNET sites consitently cause browser to crash.

it seems that many CNET sites consistently crash Mozilla.

I subscribe to various CNET newsletters, and almost all the links in the
newsletters cause Mozilla to crash.

Here are some example links that cause mozilla to crash:

Using Win2000, and Build 20010828, this (WFM) Works For Me

I am an avid CNET user, and have never noticed a crash on the entire site.

If you have a talkback enabled build, could you list some of the Talback ID
numbers of the crashes? If you don't have a talkback build, try and get one,
and see if it can 'catch' the crash.

Are there any other symptoms that you notice besides the crash? Could you
provide details of what exactly happens to get the crash, and also describe the
crash itself? (like.. at what point in loading the page did it crash)

I see you have the latest build... have you noticed this crashing in previous
builds? (or is it specific to today's build)

Any extra info would be helpful!

[leaving marked as 'unconfirmed' on the basis of 'WFM']
Crash for me as well, using build 2001082703, Win2000.
Talkback:
TB34679781M

Is only crashed one time, however, on the first link:
http://one.digital.cnet.com/cgi-bin1/flo?y=hCUF0DRaa40ZC0fiV0AF

Now I can not reproduce the crash again.
ok, with the confirmation.. I think i'm marking as "new" (if no one objects!)
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
WFM on all links: build 2001082308, Linux
1. I have filed several talkbacks in the past few months on this. Here is the
most recent one (today): TB34678371Q

2. Crash Description: Difficult to explain. Click link in email newsletter -
wait a few seconds - browser window opens - crash after 1-3 seconds.

3. Crashes have been occurring for months now (I use a new nightly almost every
day).

4. Extra Info: About a week ago, I deleted the mozregistry.dat and mozver.dat
files before installing the next nightly (to get a cleaner installation. About a
month ago, I deleted ALL files im my nightly to get an even cleaner installation
of the next nightly.
I just tried the first link at home (win98, 2001-08-17) and it crashed mozilla
(at work i use winNT - also crashes). FWIW: These are two separate profiles too.
Hrmm.. Do you read your mail through the Mozilla mail client, Microsoft
outlook, Eudora,or, do you have web-based email, etc.. ? If you indeed use the
Mozilla mail program, then we might be able to narrow it down to a problem with
Mozilla mail.
Along the same lines: If you click on the links you posted above, does the
browser crash? And, does the browser crash if you visit the site by
copy/pasting the url into the Location bar?

(tryin to narrow down where the problem could be, 'tis all!)
This bug sounds familiar. I think it may be already reported.
WFM - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3+) Gecko/20010829
