From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010628 BuildID: 2001082722 why are the downloaded files saved first in the system directory? The netscape behaviour was to save the file directly to the desired location... The problem is that i don't have much space on the system drive. I think im not the only one in this case Can an option be added to save the downloaded file directly to the destination directory? Sorry, this is not really a bug report... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download a big file when the system drive is nearly full 2. 3. Actual Results: download indicator continues to update but there's no space to write Expected Results: file saved directly to the destination drive

It's certainly a symptom of the underlying issue in bug 55690, so marking as a dupe of that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55690 ***
