The bookmark management is very good in all, the filing of a new bookmark is not.

There are two simple (optional) features that are missing, imho.

1. "Direct bookmark filing". A global checkbox, which - when enabled - would add
a special entry to all bookmark submenues: "File current page here". This would
ease the sorting of new bookmarks much instead of the
bookmark/open-bookmarks/drag-n-drop-to-folder process. Doing it as optional
checkbox would allow greater freedom.

2. "Edit properties after filing", a global checkbox also, which when activated
would open the bookmark properties for every new bookmark, directly after it has
been filed. This would allow comfortable editing of title and URL. Trying to
figure what the meaningless titles of a cluttered bookmark root menue means,
weeks after one has filed the bookmark is a problem.

You can do the first RFE with CTRL+Shift+D. There is also a RFE about filing
bookmarks into folders like in Netscape 4.x: bug 41888.

Scut, if you agree with this, could you alter the bug summary to match your
second RFE?

Sorry, I missed the Shift+Ctrl+D thing, its nice and offers the functionality.
The second feature is included within the Shift+Ctrl+D dialog, so if you use
that its all fine. I do not know whether it is worth then to have such a global
option, I guess one would want to use Shift+Ctrl+D in any case.

Marking WORKSFORME as the reporter found out Shift-Ctrl-D does most of this.
Anything else should be refiled as a smaller bug.
