RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 616843

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150402191859

Steps to reproduce:

I opened ~10 tabs at once, with "Open all in tabs" from the bookmark menu. One of the tabs had a normal javascript alert Ok/Cancel.

Actual results:

Well focus was stolen and I was brought up to the tab with the alert.

I didn't immediately click ok and I switched to another tab. To my surprise it never completely loaded, and none of the newly opened ones actually did, displaying only a white page. I had to switch back to the tab with the alert and click Ok. Then all tabs finished loading up and displayed normally.

Expected results:

Well the alert should not have stolen focus.

More importantly it shouldn't interfere with the loading of separate independent tabs.
