The "manage access controls" under "restrict access" in the admin server for iWS 4.1 uses Java to fiddle with ACLs. Using mozilla build 20020304 the java plugin starts, prompts me for admin authentication but then fails to actually start the ACL applet. end result: I can't administer ACLS in iWS 4.1 using MOzilla.

This is reported internally at Netscape against the Netscape Enterprise Server. Blackflag defect 600479. This is blocked by Mozilla bug 60304. We have a possible fix (kludge kludge kludge) that we might apply in the next version of NES.
Depends on: 60304

Bug Owner - Netscape Enterprise Server 6.1 has a hack in place that works around this bug. As I said above, it's an ugly (ugly) hack. While we still would like to see bug 60304 fixed, this bug (128892) can, at your descretion, be resolved.
resolved that NES6.1 has a workaround that works for someone
