Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Access https://guest@jigsaw.w3.org/HTTP/Basic/ in a new tab.
  3. Right click on the above tab and select the Duplicate Tab option.
  4. Duplicate again the above tab via context menu.

Expected result

  • The confirmation prompt is displayed on the 2nd duplicated tab.

Actual result

  • A new tab is opened and the confirmation prompt is no longer visible.

Regression range

  • This issue doesn't seem to be regression. I was able to reproduce it on Nightly 77.0a1 (2020-04-28), after bug 1629808 landed.

Additional notes

  • I was not able to reproduce this issue with the Insecure Form Submit prompt (bug 616849)

Odd that the first one seems to clone properly, but the second does not.
