Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Mozilla does not authenticate my user account at the proxy, which is required for access. There appears to be no way to tell Mozilla what account details to use and it clearly does no (correctly?) use the current logon details. The problem has existed in all versions of Mozilla so far. I have used Mozilla on Windows 2000 and XP. Inetrnet Explorer functions correctly with identical proxy settings. The domain uses Windows 2000 Active Directory accounts. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure Mozilla to use the proxy 2. Access any web site 3. Actual Results: Receive an error message from the ISA proxy: "HTTP 407 Authentication Required - The ISA Server requires authorisation to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. (12209)" Expected Results: Used the currently logged on account details to authenticate to the proxy. Mozilla installed on my home machines (no proxy authentication required) works perfectly.
