Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I found the page above on a google search but when I tried the regular link it
was password protected. Since Google had a cached version of the page I tried to
load that but since (I think) google does not cahce ictures and other objects
Firefox tried to load them from the original site, where they where password
protected.

This lead to a "loop" (not really but a lot of windows to dismiss) where the
password dialog popped up once for every object on the page (and they where
numerous) making the page more or less impossible to load.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the linked page
2. See that the password dialog pops up maybe 50 times or so (if you don't have
a password) making the user experience sub optimal
3.

Expected Results:
It would be nice if the browser just stopped loading the objects that where
password protected - i.e., we need an option in the password dialog 'ignore all
further passwords requests on this page' or something like that.
