From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.77 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.19-6.2.1 i686) BuildID: 2001050812 There is a form. The field ACTION points to some page protected by Basic authentication. After requesting login and password, the page is resubmitted but all the fields values are lost Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create the form pointing to some protected handler. 2. Load the form and press "Submit" 3. Analyse the values received by the handler. Actual Results: The values are lost Expected Results: The values should be taken from the form

Reporter, what build of Mozilla were you using and do you have URL where this can be tested? This bug will get a lot more attention (some rather than none, that is) if you include a URL. If you own site/code where this problem occurred, maybe you can put up a dummy form pointing to a protected area and provide the username and password to get into that area. Jake
