Andrew, Henri, do you think it's been long enough for us to remove this pref? It landed in 64, and I haven't seen any fallout yet. (Removing it would also help simplify the patch for bug 1491010, where I plan on having the XHR code re-use the same code Fetch is using, which doesn't have this special-case).
