Hi Ben, There are two recommendation features coming up in about:addons that we'd like to measure. Below are some metrics I thought of, but there are probably more I didn't think of so your input is appreciated! 1) Disco TAAR: launching next Tuesday 1/29/19. We will be showing recommendations from a curated list on the Discovery pane. 2) Recommendations from the same curated list as Disco TAAR on Extensions and Themes tabs in about:addons. Scheduled for 67. - How many people visit the Extensions and Themes tabs in about:addons? How many people visit disco pane? - We'd like to measure usage across the curated list over time, so we can see how many people were using those extensions before and after they're recommended. - Do people who install the curated extensions retain better? - Do people who install the curated extensions tend to install another extension? - What is the uninstall rate of the curated extensions v. uncurated extensions? - Of the people who visit the Extensions and Themes tabs, how many people click over to the disco pane and vice versa? How many perform a search and get redirected to AMO? - Can we tell whether people installed something from Disco Pane or AMO after visiting the Extensions or Themes tabs (as it currently does not show any recommendations)?

Update on discussion with Ben 1/30/19: 1) Disco TAAR - Experiment complete, now just monitor to make sure everything is stable - Scott to talk to Martin about running experiment on the minimum number of extensions required on the whitelist to make disco taar performant 2) Recommendations on Extensions and Themes tabs in about:addons - Consider implementing disco taar because it's already developed as a feature and would be easier to measure 3) Roadmap metrics - Ben to look at list of metrics and make suggestions on how to measure security/safety
