Just to be absolutely sure WebRender is innocent:
If you open about:support, "Compositing" does not longer contain "WebRender", right? What does it say instead?

I have seen similar in Reddit!

If you open about:support, "Compositing" does not longer contain "WebRender", right? What does it say instead?
(In case it still says WebRender, please make sure the preference is correctly set and Nightly really restarted. In case of doubt, please restart Windows. Thanks. ^^)
