I brought up the unhelpful backtrace in comment #0 in Matrix `#breakpad:mozilla.org` yesterday, and it turns out there's a bug with the MinGW builds where they don't get a copy of `dump_syms` and therefore can't build Breakpad symbols. I don't know if a bug has been filed for that yet, but gsvelto is aware of it.
