A lot of the videos on that site have trouble starting for me in any browser, I'm not clear why. Based on the above, it sounds like the site is serving h264 media, which we do not have a decoder for by default on Linux. If you have ffmpeg installed Firefox will try and use the libraries provided by the package to do decoding, but do not package our own decoder for the licensing reasons mentioned above. Do you have ffmpeg installed in the cases where this is working?
