Image shows version 68.12.1 on left and version 78.5.0 on right. All the buttons and icons in the versions prior to 78 all show tooltips. As anexample of what a tooltip looks like, I hovered over the wheelcog icon that indicates it has a drop down list and the tooltip appeared: 'Tools for all addons'. All buttons/icons that contain a drop down menu are indicated as having a drop down menu by including the 'v' shaped arrow. In version 78*, None of the icons nor buttons have any tooltips and there is no indication that some icons eg: wheel cog and three dot, actually have a drop down menu. It might be obvious to you and me that the lozenge shape can be clicked on to move the white dot to left or right to indicate whether it is enabled or disabled, but that should not be assumed. People do not know they can click on it. People are afraid that if they click on an icon which has no meaning and no tooltip they might do something they regret. It is also very difficult to verbably to describe icons when offering instructions. Icons without text are not helpful - if you use an icon then it should also offer Text, so that icon has meaning. Telling someone to click on 'Enable' (when there is a button called 'Enable' ) and if you hover over it the tooltip says 'Enabled this addon' is clear and easy and takes very little typing time. Telling someone to look for the lozenge shape icon which is like a rectantangle with rounded ends which might have a white dot to the right side and the background colour is blue/coloured to indicate that it is enabled and hovering over it offers no information on what it is or indeed that you can click on it and then asking then if the dot is white and to the right or positioned to the to the left and the background is pale - can you now understand the issue ? There are also no tooltips in any of the other options eg: Themes Regarding 'Themes': There is a slight improvement that the lozenge icon is not used and the Disable button is visible. Regarding 'Dictionaries' - there is no 'Disable' button for some reason it has been completely removed and there is no 'lozenge' icon either. So I've no idea how you disable it anyway from that location. Could the 'Disable/Enable' button be put back. The inconsistency is obvious and not helpful. If the lozenge icon could be removed from 'Extensions' and the 'Disable/Enable' button could be reinstated, it would be a huge improvment. Alternative, if lozenge icon had text eg: Disable/Enable then it would be helpful. If the 'Dictionaries' sction could get the 'Disable/Enable' button option again it would be helpful. If everything could have the tooltips again - it would be helpful.
