**[Sugested Severity:]** S3 **[Description:]** when I'm on search bar, initialized by tab to search, and I click out of the search bar or change applications, the search mode is lost. **[Steps:]** 1. Open Firefox with a new profile. 2. Click on the search bar 3. Type @g and press tab (google search mode is started) 4. Click out of the address bar **[Actual result:]** Search mode is lost and only @g is shown in the address bar **[Expected result:]** When you are in search mode and click out of the address bar, we use a lighter version of the search engine indicator. It's meant to move into the background like the rest of the address bar **[Notes:]** This is a regression. It does not happen on release. I can also reproduce it with tab to search. I will do the mozregression later on.
