Steps to reproduce:

use the program


Actual results:

when new messages arrive, the message count shown on the taskbar is incorrect.

This just began recently, when I upgraded Thunderbird to V91.2.1,
before that, the message count wasn't even shown on taskbar.


Expected results:

the new-message count should agree with the number of new messages
