I seems to encounter similar issue opening office documents (xlsx, docx, ...) attached to emails (IMAP account working online) with Thunderbird 95.0b4 (64-bit) on Windows 20H2. Was already happening with 95.0b3 (64-bit)... Pdf attachments open fine in TB tab... I don't know if the file is empty, but office app just cannot open attachment directly from TB, error message appears, for example: ````Excel cannot open the file (...) because the file format or file extension is not valid (...)```` Saving the attachment and opening it from File Explorer works fine as workaround, but not really convenient :-)
