**Environment:**
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Nightly 122.0a1 (2023-12-07)

**Steps to reproduce:**
1. Go to https://www.facebook.com
2. Log into your account.
3. Access the feed by clicking on the facebook logo.
4. Observe the thumbnail of the stories.

**Expected Behaviour:**
The overlay of the stories thumbnails are lighter.

**Actual Behaviour:**
The overlay of the stories thumbnails are slightly darker.

**Notes:**
1. Screenshot provided
2. Reproducible on Firefox Release as well
3. Not reproducible on Chrome
4. Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing
