Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Nightly 122.0a1 (2023-12-07)
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://www.facebook.com
- Log into your account.
- Access the feed by clicking on the facebook logo.
- Observe the thumbnail of the stories.
Expected Behaviour:
The overlay of the stories thumbnails is bright.
Actual Behaviour:
The overlay of the stories thumbnails is slightly darker.
Notes:
- Screenshot provided
- Reproducible on Firefox Release as well
- Not reproducible on Chrome
- Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and it's still reproducible on Firefox versions 123 and 125.
Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Browsers: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-02-25) / Firefox Release 123 / Chrome 122.0.6261.70
Note: Not reproducible on Chrome

Facebook's UI looks very different now. I still could see some gradients in stories and reels, but they look very similar now. I'll close this.
