Hmm, I can't reproduce using latest Nightly (2024-06-05) on a Pixel 8 with Android 14. When I tap the search field, I see the search page ("More ways to find your files" etc.)

Looking closely at the screencast in comment 0, it looks like the Firefox emulated-phone is skinnier than the Chrome emulated-phone. I think that might be responsible for the difference here? That results in the search box being nearly-entirely collapsed (notice some "Sea[rch]" placeholder-text is present in Chrome but missing in Firefox, due to Dropbox toggling between a slightly wider vs. skinnier layout)

If I load this Dropbox page in Firefox *or* Chrome on desktop with an extremely skinny viewport, I see that nothing happens when I tap inside the search box (if I tap the magnifying-class search icon, at least). So that's not a Firefox-specific issue.

Can you reproduce any issues here when you do an apples-to-apples comparison with the same screen size for Firefox vs. Chrome? If so, could you attach a screencast to show that comparison and differing behavior?

If I load this Dropbox page in Firefox *or* Chrome on desktop in Responsive Design Mode with an extremely skinny viewport, I can reproduce essentially what was described here; nothing happens when I tap inside the search box (if I tap the magnifying-class search icon, at least). So that's not a Firefox-specific issue.
