Alt/Option+Enter is the shortcut to open pages in new tab, cmd enter happened to work, but as indicated in the Release Notes we had to move canonization to Cmd Enter.
If you don't use the canonization feature, you can set `browser.urlbar.ctrlCanonizesURLs` to false in about:config, and that will restore previous behavior.
