We updated our Swedish dictionary last year to the last version of Goran's dictionary which was last updated in 2015. The dictionary was recently forked by Daniel Nylander to be modernized: https://www.danielnylander.se/2026/03/23/hunspell-sv_se-251-000-ord-storsta-fria-svenska-ordboken/ github.com/yeager/hunspell-sv/ The license remains LGPL 3.0 About 100,000 new words were added. Daniel has been translating open source software in Swedish for 20 years and that new fork looks like a significant improvement over what we ship now. AFAIK, It is also the only current effort for a Swedish Hunspell dictionary. Luna, what do you think?
