When I write down ad Euro character or I find it on a webpage, Mozilla just show
an empty space instead of it.

What font do you have specified for your Unicode font in preferences? Do you 
have Times New Roman MT 30 installed?

OK, I give up.

The euro character is too common of a character for us to be requiring a
unicode font.

I've changed the code so that the Euro is in our list of "use the current font
characters" in addition to 0x81-0xFF

On my Windows95 platform the euro symbol (as found on the mozilla-1.0
release notes, about halfway down the page) is represented as a men's-room
symbol by Mozilla 1.0 Build ID 2002053012.
