If I search all messages in the new super tab and click some filters, it would be great if it could be possible to simply create saved search from the actual filters in the search tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter search string in search all box
2. do some filters in the tab
Actual Results:  
there's not any button for creating saved search based on filter in the tab

Expected Results:  
button which would raise a dialog to enter the saved search folder location and name. Mayby the button could raise the standard dialog for creating saved search, but it could have pre-filled search filters derived from the tab.

Telda, thank you for your request for enhancement.
Sure, it should be possible. It's a search with specific criteria, so it should be save-able as a virtual folder, like any other search (quick filter / search messages). -> confirming

We'd need to figure out an UI for this. Maybe just add "Save search as virtual folder" to the quicksearch box dropdown. That would be ok for a non-faceted search. For faceted search results (filtered from results page after the fact), I think it wouldn't be intuitive, because the extra criteria are not in the box.
So we'd probably need some kind of menu and/or button. Telda, where in the UI would you expect such a command button to be?

I don't think this will or needs to happen very soon. But we would take patches if someone like YOU provides them! :) And we should fix that other bug to allow "multiple accounts" scope for "Search messages" dialogue, which would provide at least a better traditional approach to doing what this bug wants. Currently it's kind of tricky to save a virtual search that covers more than one account.
