When I type a plain e-mail, Thunderbird starts looping and I have to kill it. It happens rather often.

Can we get a stack trace see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report ?

I read your document, telling me that it doesn't apply on Ubuntu, nor to loops. Down 5 screens I found an Ubuntu link. This is what you're asking, right? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#Getting_a_stacktrace_of_a_hung_process Not reproducible, starting gdb after loop start and getting a few stack traces, OK?

Sorry I wanted to be sure of this before writing but I waited a bit too long :-( The problem suddenly disappeared. I'm sure I didn't modify any config except removing a language autodetect. And the problem still occurred after removing it, then stopped. Mystery. Now, the problem with release 15 is that FF+TB progressively use 50% of my 2MB. I have to stop them, goes down to 25% and then slowly up again. When 85% of the real memory us used, the system thrashes badly. If you had a hint how to workaround this! Thank you.
