Going back from the attachment view to a message detail screen view, after turning the phone back on, results into a white screen

Prerequisites: Have a received email message with an image attachment
 
Repro Steps:
1) Updated to Unagi Build ID: 20130308070202
2) Go to the email app
3) Open an email with image attachment
4 [review]) Download the attachment
5) Press the "View" button to view the attachment - Image is displayed
6) Press he Power button 
7) Open the phone  - Image is displayed
8) Press the "Back" button to go back to a message detail view

Expected:
User is able to go back to the message detail view

Actual:
White screen appears.

This reliably reproduces for me too.

This seems like a platform painting issue where a graphics context gets destroyed and fails to be re-created or something.  If I hold down the 'home' key to get into the card view after this happens, the zoomed out view paints after a few second and when I go back in I am okay.

If I mash around on the e-mail app while the screen is white, I am able to affect the e-mail app.  If I then hold down the 'home' key, painting eventually happens again (although some portions of the screenshot are white, but I think that's a known platform deficiency?) and indicates that my clicks did have some effect while the screen was white.  Or at least they got queued up and replayed before painting...

I'm not sure who to cc about this type of thing in a post-cjones dystopian future, but I'm hoping fabrice or dietrich or naoki have an idea...
