Yes, this is to capture a particular Mac only problem. (It's basically a problem with the TEC and converting from smKorean to Unicode for anyone who's interested.)

I've only investigated it to the point of failure from the TEC to do the conversion from smKorean to Unicode. This is currently a lower priority item than other things, so I can't really spend any time figuring out what the failure is until a later milestone.
