Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 SeaMonkey/2.25 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140318183706 Steps to reproduce: I entered "1234567" in the URL/search bar. (For example, a phone number of somebody who tried to call me, and I want to search via Google if this phone number is shown on some web sites). Actual results: NOTHING happens. I get a blank page. The URL bar is empty too. Firefox does neither try to open http://1234567/ , nor try to search for "1234567" via Google (resp. my default search engine). Expected results: Either, use the default search engine to search for "1234567" (behavior of Google Chrome) or try to open http://1234567/ (which I do not recommend, since it is very unlikely that IANA will issue a numeric-only TLD.
