Details

When opening new tab, I don't see the tiles, only the search box. After hitting F5, the tiles appear. I think I only see this on my HiDPI laptop (late 2013 15" MBP), not on my 2012 iMac.
Happens also in Windows.

looks very much like bug 1002521
