Details
Adobe release a new version of Flash, we have: Win: 13.0.0.206 OS X: 13.0.0.206 Linux: 11.2.202.356 http://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb14-13.html I will start updating on staging today. I want to test the situation of the crashes with this version, but I believe we'll still install the debug version on windows machines.

Checked reproducibility of bug with the new version on windows, still crashes so we still have to use the debug version. Updated Windows 7 machines on staging so far.

Today was full with other duty tasks, so I only managed to check staging and update osx 10.7 on production. Hopefully Monday I'll have all done.

Rechecked and closed that update window on ubuntu, just a few left which are running tests now. Started with windows but Andrei will finish here as duty so I can focus on bug 994040.

This is done: mm-win-7-32-1 done mm-win-7-32-2 done mm-win-7-32-3 done mm-win-7-32-4 done mm-win-7-64-1 done mm-win-7-64-2 done mm-win-7-64-3 done mm-win-7-64-4 done mm-win-81-32-1 done mm-win-81-32-2 done mm-win-81-32-3 done mm-win-81-32-4 done mm-win-81-64-1 done mm-win-81-64-2 done mm-win-81-64-3 done mm-win-81-64-4 done mm-win-8-32-1 done mm-win-8-32-2 done mm-win-8-32-3 done // can't connect via VNC / RDP works / rebooted machine / works fine now mm-win-8-32-4 done mm-win-8-64-1 done // can't connect via VNC / RDP works / rebooted machine / works fine now mm-win-8-64-2 done mm-win-8-64-3 done mm-win-8-64-4 done // can't connect via VNC / RDP works / rebooted machine / works fine now mm-win-vista-32-1 done mm-win-vista-32-2 done mm-win-vista-32-3 done mm-win-vista-32-4 done mm-win-xp-32-1 done mm-win-xp-32-2 done mm-win-xp-32-3 done mm-win-xp-32-4 done === On 3 win8 machines I couldn't connect via VNC, RDP worked, and after a restart they all work fine. Since the debug installer does not give you the option to opt-out of automatic update checks, I've manually set that option on all machines. A simple way of checking the version and set global options is to (thanks Andreea for the tip): 1. visit http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html // make sure to use Firefox 2. Click on Check Now // this will show you the installed version, and if you have the latest version 3. Right-click on the checkmark, select Global Settings, go to Advanced and make sure to set Never check for updates.

That's necessary for Puppet, so if you could check it, I would appreciate that.

Seems we can do this with mms.cfg file with > AutoUpdateDisable=1 The location of this file differs for every OS/Version: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/administration-configure-auto-update-notification.html

Looks like it will always be located under the system path where a env variable should exist for. That should make it easier.
