This is a repeat of bug 956356, since it has been open for 4 months and no one has responded.  Since there is no one on the cc list, I thought it best to open another bug.

Please check into this, as it affects my addon and is a problem for Linux users.  Bug 956356 includes a demo.

I'm sorry nobody responded to your initial bug. In future, a good way to get attention brought to it would be to needinfo someone who knows about that area of the code. If you don't know who to needinfo, you could post to the relevant mailing list (e.g. firefox-dev or mozilla-dev-platform) or check up on us via IRC (see http://irc.mozilla.org/ - the #developers channel will usually be most helpful).

I'm marking this as a duplicate, and I'll try and investigate your original bug as soon as I find some time...
