100458 - When getting new mail in a folder selected the lastest message should be selected

When getting new mail in a folder already selected, the lastest message should
be selected. For exemple, if my Inbox folder is selected and sorted by date.
After downloading the message, the last one should be selected immediately.

Bug 97093 refers to something similar but when you select the folder NOT after
receiving mail when the folder is *already* selected.

Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very
overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps:

1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN)
2) Create a new profile
3) test the bug again

If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response
were quite overloaded here and understaffed.

I don't think this is a good idea.  I should be able to hit Delete without
worrying that a new message might come in at the same time.

I agree with the last comment, which is quite insightful.  I think this bug is
wrong and bug 125761 is right - on new arrival of mail, either nothing should
happen or the thread pane should be scrolled.
