The initial welcome screen's background graphic is very low resolution for the tablet size and doesn't look good.
This can especially be seen in the diagonal edges and rounded curves (word balloon corners).

I'd say the 2x assets are enough, even if it still doesn't match perfectly Flatfish resolution.
