On Flatfish device:
- On bootup after the Firefox "Tablet Contribution Program" logo disappears there frequently (not always) appears a thin, white, vertical line for a moment. This doesn't look professional or polished.
- Right before the "Based on Mozilla Technology" logo the screen flashes all white. This is unpleasant and especially bad if someone is booting up in a dark room.
- *Sometimes* the device then makes a horrible and loud sound (meant to be a chime?). If the sound is necessary, it shouldn't sound awful and should be at least capped at a middle volume. I heard this sound at least twice, but subsequently didn't reproduce it after a couple more reboots.

I don't have a tablet on my hand but the TCP logo isn't necessary for our users to see so we don't need to worry about that too much.

We should fix the based on Mozilla Technology logo. I'm not sure why it's flashing...

The bootup sound - not sure if we have bootup sound but it could maybe be something the tablet hardware is causing or may be something that also needs to work on. I'd file a bug for this specifically if you reproduce it again.
OS: Windows 7 → Gonk (Firefox OS)
Hardware: x86_64 → ARM
About the logo, it appears to be a Firefox OS logo with the TCP text included. I suspect it is in place of just a plain Firefox logo. If this is the case, we should probably treat it as a bug.

I've filed bug 1005812 for the bootup sound.
Alright, let's outline the main issue in this bug and change the title for it :)
